Easter is on it’s way, and I hope you have Sunday, April 21st, starred on your calendar. For Christians, Easter is the most important holiday we celebrate, because the empty tomb is the proof that Jesus conquered death and sin forever. Not only does an empty grave declare victory, it holds a promise. The promise of real, physical, abundant eternal life to all who repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their savior.
On April 21, we’ll gather to celebrate God’s triumph over death, proving his offer of forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life was real! But the best part is that eternal life is the gift that keeps on giving. What has been given to us by God was mean to be shared. We share the love of God in many ways, but the most important way is by inviting others to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ!
For most of us, that means inviting people to church where they can see the Gospel portrayed in Communion and hear it proclaimed from the Bible. As we prepare for Easter services, will you share what God has given you by inviting others to experience Easter with Central? Maybe it’s a family member who doesn’t know Christ, a friend who you know doesn’t have a church home, a fellow co-worker who has asked about church, or someone who’s been forgotten by society and needs to find a family.
Whether you invite one of your four, or all four of your four, I look forward to seeing you on Sunday, April 21, as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection and watch God grow His kingdom right here at Central Christian! Consider this your personal invitation!
See you Sunday!
