March is already here! That means warmer weather, bare tree limbs sprouting leaves, blossoming flowers, and brown grass beginning to green. It also means the return of our creep crawly friends, such as snakes.

In your calendar, March 17th is denoted as St. Patrick’s day. St. Patrick was a Christian missionary to Ireland. Legend has it he drove all the snakes out of Ireland, setting the people free of those nasty creatures. While it’s a cute story, it’s a reminder to me that Christ has set us free from the curse of sin and sting of death!

As the calendar pages turn this month, and you celebrate St. Patrick’s day, it’s my prayer you’ll thank God for setting you free, and live in his freedom!

See you Sunday!
